Springtime wish-list: baby edition.

Happy Friday the 13th! It’s been raining all day yesterday, and today. Times are a little scary, with the Coronavirus going around- my family and I are staying indoors for awhile. We had many trips planned for Springtime: the aquarium, museums, Disneyland, a small trip to San Diego- but they have all been cancelled. It just isn’t worth going out and exposing ourselves when we don’t have to. We are taking this very seriously, and I hope you all stay safe!

On a lighter note, I thought it would be fun to post a Springtime wish-list for Eloise. I’m a *sucker* for baby clothes. I told Dexter that I love dressing her everyday & I look forward to picking out her outfits! I mostly get Ellie’s clothing from Old Navy, GAP, Target, and a few pieces from Janie and Jack (when they have good sales). I also LOVE Rylee & Cru, Mini Boden, Spearmint Baby; but they can be so pricey!

BABY NURSERY ITEMS: WISH LIST

Planning a baby’s nursery is something I’ve dreamt about for a long time. What color theme will it be? Where should I put the crib? I hope to have some nice bookshelves in his/her room! These are all things I’ve thought about, but sometimes that’s not reality. We live in an apartment & I made a decision not to get an extra room for her. By the time our lease ends, she will only be 6 months old and she wouldn’t have used the extra room because I plan to have her in our room sleeping in her bassinet for the first 6 months.

So no decorating a baby nursery this moment, but we will when our lease is up & we move into a house! I’m definitely looking forward to that, but I think we made the right decision to save some money and not waste it on a room she wasn’t going to sleep in/use!

I’ll probably do a nursery post when the time comes, but for now I want to show you a few things on my wish list!

THIS ADORABLE NIGHTLIGHT.

THESE SHELVES FOR BOOKS.

THESE GOLD BOW KNOBS.

THIS FLOOR LENGTH MIRROR.

TASSELED DREAM CATCHER.

AUDREY CONVERTIBLE CRIB.

CRIB SHEETS.

I love gold accents, if you couldn’t tell. I want her room to feel light & airy, but also whimsical! It’ll be fun to see if my mind will change about any of these pieces a year from now! Regardless, I look forward to decorating her nursery next year. It’ll give me time to save money and spend it on the expensive pieces, like the crib!

Hope you all have a lovely week! I’m currently in Southern California hanging out with my twin sister, since she is due the 13th of August… just waiting for baby Addie to make her grand appearance 😉

SHOES I’M LOVING:

We are already halfway through February, can you believe it? That means we are heading closer to Springtime! There are a few shoes I’ve been eyeing… I probably won’t get all of them, but a girl can dream! Right? I’m a sucker for a nice pair of shoes. Here are some of my favorites right now:

New Balance Pink Sneakers.

Flamingo Pink Seychelles Electric Pump.

Free People Cedar Clog.

Free People Park Circle Clog.

Did you notice a theme? I’m loving all the pink shoes!! They are SO cute. I would buy all these  if I could, but that’s just not realistic on a college student budget. Hah! I’m thinking of purchasing the New Balance ones, since I am trying to be more active lately. But I am smitten with the Free People Park Circle clogs. TO DIE FOR. Which one is your favorite from the list?

I hope you all have a great week ahead!

BIRTHDAY MONTH: WISH LIST.

IT’S SEPTEMBER!

Didn’t August just fly right on by? Since I was so busy, I hardly had any time to blog. Also, with school starting- it’s been hectic. I’m officially a college SENIOR! It’s been a long time coming! “One more year left” is what I keep repeating to myself when things become too overwhelming. Although I CANNOT wait to be done- I’m going to try and savor the last moments of being a college student. {it’s been so nice to make my own schedule & not working}

Besides that- It’s my BIRTHDAY MONTH! I am turning 25 years old on the 30th! Now that is something I cannot wrap my head around.  Mid-twenties. WHAT? A lot of people I know are having babies, getting married, have “adult” jobs, and  it’s just crazy to think that this is an age where these things start happening. But I’m looking forward to twenty-five! I’m curious what new things I’ll do this year/ where life will take me.

Here are some cute things I’d like to have/ or really like at the moment:

SPERRY QUILTED DUCK BOOTS.

PATAGONIA WOMEN’S COTTON QUILT HOODY.

PATAGONIA WOMEN’S CLEAN COLOR SWEATSHIRT.

VASQUE BREEZE HIKING BOOTS.

THE NORTH FACE ISABELLA DAYPACK.

Notice a theme? I really want to get more involved outdoors: hiking, camping, etc. I need a pair of hiking boots! So that would be an amazing gift!

25TH BIRTHDAY IDEAS: WINE TASTING IN SONOMA COUNTY.

It’s officially August! Which means my birthday is next month! And not any birthday, it’s a milestone birthday: twenty-five! Craziness. So I have been trying to think of ideas of what to do. I’ve been to Napa Valley for wine tasting (even celebrated my 21st there), but I’ve never gone to Sonoma. I think this will be the perfect place to celebrate officially being in my mid-twenties: drink delicious wine and enjoy the gorgeous scenery.

I’ve narrowed the list down to 5 wineries I’m interested in visiting, for the weekend getaway:

1. FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA WINERY | Geyserville, Ca.

2. VIANSA SONOMA | Sonoma, Ca.

3. FERRARI CARANO VINEYARDS & WINERY | Healdsburg, Ca.

4. GLORIA FERRER CAVES & VINEYARDS | Sonoma, Ca.

5. JORDAN VINEYARD & WINERY | Healdsburg, Ca.

If anyone has been to Sonoma, and has any good winery recommendations that I haven’t listed, I’d love to know what they are. Also any hotel/restaurant/coffee shop recommendations would be greatly appreciated as well!
